  1. My goals are to go to college and graduate. To achieve that goal, right now I have to get good grades and study hard. I need to do these things to get into a college that I want to. If I have a clean record and a reputation being a good student I will probably appeal to there needs of a being a potential student. There is not any obstacles I see that can be a threat to my goals, most of the work that I need to put in depends on me. If I slack off then that might be a set back, other than that not many things stand in my way.

  2. My ultimate goal in life is to become an NFL football player. Obviously there will be many obstacles to climb along the way. First I have to make varsity on the high school team and play well enough to be able to play college football. I will also have to keep my grades very high and have a good major just in case things don’t go as I want. I’m thinking something in sports journalism as a back up job. I then have to play well enough at the college level to have the opportunity to be drafted or enter the NFL as a free agent. Right now all I can do is train my heart out and work very hard and try my best to contribute to my team and improve. But football aside, my goals for this school year are to get the best grades that I can get and to try my best in every class so that I can reach my full potential as a student. I’m sure that I won’t always get the grades I want this year, but I will always have to stay mentally tough and stick with it. Right now I just have to work hard and make sure I have all of my school things in order. I also have to stay focused, organized, and ready. In conclusion, these are my goals for my life and for this year and how I can attain them.

  3. In counting, there are 886 days left of school for everyone in the eighth grade before they finish high school. This seems like a very, very long time to go. But in the 176 days left of eighth grade, I have a few goals in mind. I want to try to get all of my homework assignments in on time. This has always been a challenge for me because I occasionally lose track when there are so many assignments given, even if they are only quick worksheets. An obstacle for me is actually posting this blog. I'm not sure if I'm posting it right at all or if I'm posting it the right way. Anyway, only four school days have gone by, and in the other 176, I hope to learn how the Google system works. I hope eighth grade will be a good year.

  4. My goals as a student are to create a better work ethic as well as not falling under stress. What i can start doing to create these goals are to train my body and brain under the the stress of 8th grade. I am starting that by keeping calm, and keeping cool. The challenge that I see coming is a spike in difficulty in learning new material.
those are the obstacles that i foresee. The Goals that I have planned out could be difficult but I will have to overcome them.

  6. This year I have many goals that I hope to achieve. I also have many obstacles that I will face in order to achieve my goals as a student. Some goals that I have are that I am willing to do the hard work to be a straight A student this year. An obstacle that might affect this goal is that I am in many after school activities such as show choir and chamber choir.Another goal that I have is to start studying more. A way that I can achieve these goals is by being able to manage my time the right way. Hopefully this year I will be able to fulfill my goals and face the challenges that might cause me to not fulfill my goals.

  7. I am really looking forward to this year for school. All the fun activities from the 8th grade dance to advancement at the end. On the way though, I want to achieve multiple goals. One of them happens to be being a straight "a" student. My favorite thing to do is play sports, especially football. To do this I have to keep my grades up. To keep my grades up I am going study every night. Another goal is to become a better football player. Going into high school next year nothing is going to be handed to you in sports. You have to go out and earn it. This year I am going to train every night so I can be on the level that I want to be. The last goal but certainly not the least is to be a better human being. Sometimes I feel as if I can be a jerk sometimes, especially when I mad at something. so to become a better friend I'm not going to be mean to my friends when I'm mad at something. Or be there when they need help with something. There are no obstacles that are in my path to achieve these goals because my mind is set on achieve them. I appreciate you for asking me my goals for this year. I hope you have a good year as well.

  8. One my goals is to become a lawyer or a prosecutor because I think I would be very good at it. I can start studying really hard to achieve "a"s and "b"s. Also I can go and observe trials. Some things that could keep me from achieving my goal is depending on my grades. Also what college I get into. I want to either go to Yale or Harvard. Lastly not passing the bar test. That is what my goal is.

  9. Well its officially that time of the year. They days we all dread. Back to School. However, I can make this school year not so bad by setting goals for myself and putting in every bit of effort I have in my body and mind to achieve them. Even though I had an AMAZING summer, my mind needs to go back into school mode and begin thinking about my grades. I feel, that in order to feel accomplished or stay positive you need to set your mind to things and work hard for it, because if you work as hard as you can, you will always get a positive outcome. So my goals for this year are to get good grades and stay focused in all of my classes and to step out of my comfort zone when it comes to learning. I will hope to achieve both of these goals before going off to highschool. However, in order to reach these goals, I need to work so hard and never loose focus. I was put in honors classes for a reason. It's not impossible to do good its just not easy. You have to work for the things you want. One of my challenges I will have to face this year is trying to manage school work and my personal life. Outside of school, I am a swimmer, and I have family I love spending time with. In order to manage both you have to plan everything well and you cannot waste time doing anything else. This is how you manage your time and you use your time wisely. These are my goals for this school year in Language Arts, and all of my other classes I will be taking this year. Hopefully my 8th grade year will be the year I am able to push myself to achieve and succeed.
